When each Starbucks benefit starts
After 90 days
Starbucks matches each dollar you save for retirement, to a cap of 5% of pay. Open to partners aged 18 and up.
At 160 paid hours within two straight months
That is roughly 20 paid hours weekly, and it opens health and dental coverage for café staff.
After six months
Paid vacation for hourly partners, a tuition refund of as much as $1,000 each calendar year and a parental top-up to full pay for 12 weeks.

Getting hired at Starbucks in Canada
Set up a profile in the Starbucks Career Hub, then apply to several cafés and roles at once. Hourly postings close and reopen about every 90 days, so a job alert keeps you in the running.
The interview is a short chat with a recruiter or the café manager about real situations you have handled. Basic training happens in your first month on the job.
Toronto, Vancouver and Calgary have the most openings, but company cafés hire in all ten provinces. Pick the cafés on your way to school or work and apply while the postings are open.
