Starting pay is printed in nearly every Walmart job ad in Canada, from $18.10 an hour for a 3 a.m. online order picker in Scarborough to $27.40 for a distribution centre associate in Calgary.

Perishable distribution centres keep rooms between 12 °C and minus 24 °C, so dress for the cold. Canada Cartage now runs Walmart’s truck fleet, and the driver jobs Walmart still posts are for shunt drivers who move trailers around its Cornwall yard.
💡 Tip: Walmart’s ads ask you to be open to evenings, weekends and holidays. Tick every shift you can truly work when you apply, because a wider window fits more of the openings.
