Dollarama store hours and schedules
A typical weekday, based on twelve store pages we checked.
⏱️ Full-time
25 hours a week or more. Team Leaders are always full-time, and permanent full-timers get benefits and an RRSP.
🕐 Part-time
Below 25 hours a week, open to associates and assistant team leaders. Easy to fit around classes.
☀️ Daytime
Most stores we looked at open at 8 or 9 a.m. on weekdays, and all of them open on Sundays.
🌆 Evenings
Ten of the twelve lock up at 9 p.m. on weekdays, and leaders take on the closing duties.
📅 Weekends
Sundays start between 8 and 11 a.m. and end between 5 and 9 p.m.
Hourly schedules are set around each store’s needs, while manager forms ask whether you can give 40 to 50 hours a week across days, evenings and weekends.
