The two Coca-Cola employers in Canada
The Coca-Cola Company owns the brands and runs marketing and head office roles. Coke Canada Bottling, a Canadian family-owned business, makes, sells and delivers the drinks, so nearly all plant, warehouse and driving jobs are with the bottler.
Bottling lines
Operators keep bottles and cans moving through filling, capping and labelling, then into packs.
Warehouse floor
Associates pick orders on forklifts and load the delivery trucks.
Delivery routes
Licensed drivers bring pallets to stores, restaurants and arenas.
Merchandising
Staff fill shelves, coolers and displays inside grocery stores.
Equipment service
Technicians repair coolers and fountain machines at customer sites.
Account sales
Reps visit store and restaurant owners to take orders and plan promotions.
Hourly pay for Coca-Cola bottler staff
Driving pays the most, especially with a Class 1 licence. The driver merchandiser rates come from a real posting, and the rest are averages from Indeed, based on what the bottler’s staff report.
💡 A bigger licence means a bigger paycheque: warehouse staff who earn a Class 1 licence (AZ in Ontario) can move into driver merchandiser jobs worth about $13 more an hour.
Licences and tickets Coca-Cola’s bottler looks for
Plant and warehouse jobs can start with no certificates at all. Driving jobs need the right licence class and a clean driver’s abstract, which your provincial licensing office can print for you.
The bottler’s four hiring steps
Apply to a site
Each posting names the plant or distribution centre you would report to.
Recruiter call
A recruiter checks your availability, licence and work history.
Site interview
Meet the supervisor where you would work and see the job up close.
Pre-hire checks
Background screening, plus a drug test for some safety-sensitive roles.
Applicants for warehouse, plant and driving work must be 18 or older and hold citizenship, permanent residency or a valid work permit. English is the working language in most sites, and French is needed in Quebec.
⚠️ Pop is heavy and routes start early: drivers and merchandisers handle case after case of cans and bottles, often from before sunrise, and summer is the peak season. Plant jobs follow rotating shifts.
